BIG MAPLE LEAF

As one of the three FIFA World Cup 2026TM/MC Host Countries, the FIFA26 CAN maple leaf mosaic emblem is proudly highlighted in shades of red and orange on each colourized coin.

A VIEW OF THE REVERSE DESIGN, VISIBLE ON ONE OR BOTH ENDS OF THE ROLL

Each coin included in the Special Wrap Roll has a reverse and obverse design. The production process and quality assurance for uncirculated Special Wrap Rolls allows for either the reverse design on both ends, or the reverse design on one end and the obverse on the other. It is not possible for the Mint to guarantee or foresee which of the two versions will be shipped.

DID YOU KNOW?

While Canada previously hosted the FIFA Women’s World CupTM/MC in 2015, FIFA World Cup 2026TM/MC marks the first time Canada will host the men’s tournament, alongside Mexico (the first nation to host three times—1970, 1986, 2026) and the United States (which last hosted in 1994).

Designed by Canadian artist Glen Green, the reverse features the inscriptions “FIFA WORLD CUP 26TM/MC” and “COUPE DU MONDE DE LA FIFA 26MC/TM” along the top and bottom of the coin, respectively. Between the event titles, the official FIFA World Cup 2026TM/MC emblem appears on the left of the maple leaf laser mark, while on the right, a soccer ball in movement is accompanied by the words “TORONTO” and “VANCOUVER” denoting the two Canadian Host Cities; beneath them is the FIFA26 CAN maple leaf mosaic emblem, proudly highlighted in shades of orange and red on the colourized coin. The issuing country (“CANADA”), year of issue (“2026”) and denomination (“DOLLAR”) are inscribed on the obverse, which features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
